The Color of Hay: The Peasants of Maramureş

All images are selenium-toned, gelatin-silver prints,
derived from 6x7cm negatives.

The images are 14" x 17 ¼" printed by Kathleen on 16" x 20" Ilford fiber-based paper.

The frames are hand carved wood, made by Vasile Apan, a traditional wood carver from the village Vadu Izei.

Kathleen asks each person to sign a permission form for the release of the photo.

In Romania, the forms are in Romanian.
